Alton Memorial Hospital Working for DVT ReductionAlton Memorial Hospital is working to prevent and treat deep vein thrombosis (DVT), which can lead to a deadly pulmonary embolism (PE). As a result of new prevention protocols, the incidence of DVT at Alton Memorial has fallen by more than 50 percent.
